Song of the Week - Angels & Airwaves

This week we bring you the biggest band restructuring since Uncle Tupelo became Wilco and Son Volt... Angels & Airwaves. Ok, well it's not really that big of a deal, but how often does a band split and form two separate, successful bands?

Angels & Airwaves features Tom of Blink 182 (with Mark and Travis forming +44). I'm probably more of a +44 kind of guy, but Angels is the one with the new album. "Everything's Magic" comes off of their second album, "I-Empire."

Deputy Brown Sugar complains that the first album seemed just like one long song. The second album is more varied, so maybe he'll become a convert. The album is solid, but the bonus acoustic tracks are ummm... yeah... So, don't buy it at Best Buy (you won't get the bonus tracks) and sit back and enjoy the album.
